Bringing user experience to online education
Since 2014 I have worked a multidisciplinary role with a leading Irish educational institution.
Having started as an administrator, I set a goal to create a new role for myself, using digital skills to enhance the institution’s education offerings.
In that time I have been thoroughly involved in the digital transformation of the education centre, embracing an ‘online first’ model of learning, and focus on enhancing the user experience for online students.

Project Manager for yearly Massive Online Online Courses (MOOC), overseeing all aspects of delivery
Coordinating with technical partners in revamping of learning management system
Providing consultancy with other institutions in development of their own MOOCs
Digitising business processes for greater efficiency and reduced cost
Bringing video editing skills to enhance education offerings – producing innovative course trailers, student testimonial clips and video instructional guides
Creating interactive learning materials using eLearning software such as Articulate Studio and H5P
